Non utilising of these type of bed rails results in breakage of static hooks, either welded or bolted to the cab area sides.

2) Utility. Dodge Ram trucks are increasingly also being customized as dump trucks where its cab area is utilized to load dump truck box and bed for stowage of load. This is an increasingly cost effective and size wise better option.
